FireRed-Image-Edit

Image-editing foundation model from the FireRed team claiming open-source SOTA editing quality, released with a technical report, a LoRA zoo, a Lightning distilled variant, and the REDEdit-Bench evaluation dataset. Version 1.1 followed in March 2026 with strong community uptake (1.3K GitHub stars, 340+ HuggingFace likes within weeks). Apache-2.0 licensed.
