Isaac GR00T

NVIDIA's humanoid-robot foundation model line, announced at GTC 2025 as "the world's first open humanoid robot foundation model." The current GR00T N1.7 (early access mid-2026, Apache-2.0) is an open reasoning vision-language-action model with a new VLM backbone (Cosmos-Reason2-2B / Qwen3-VL), trained on bimanual, semi-humanoid, and humanoid data plus 20K hours of EgoScale human video — improving generalization and language-following over N1.6. A commercial surgical variant (GR00T-H-N1.7) shipped June 2026, and LIBERO fine-tuned checkpoints followed in July. Anchors NVIDIA's physical-AI stack alongside Cosmos 3.
